Lifting/Lowering The motor is energised by a micro-switch, through a contactor, actuated by the control valve lever , thus ensuring running of the motor only while lifting. Lowering is done by the same lever, pushed in the opposite side and the forks come down of their own weight.
Travelling Driven by1 HP 24V motor through a double reduction chain drive. Two stage traction speeds , controlled by micro-switches operated by finger controlled forward/reverse push buttons , located at the steering handle.
Steering The complete drive unit is mounted on a trunnion and is supported by heavy duty ball & roller bearings . This entire unit is rotated by a control handle for steering the truck.
Brakes The control handle, through a cam and link arrangement , actuate a pair of brake shoes, which operates on a brake drum, directly mounted on the traction motor shaft. The brakes are on when the control handle is either in vertical or horizontal position. The control handle is spring loaded and remains in the vertical position when released.
Electric ControlTwo stage traction speeds by finger controlled push buttons which operate 24V heavy duty contactors. Lever operates the Hydraulic Motor through mirci-switch.
Electronics May be supplied as Optional Control for Traction at additional price.
