Battery Operated Platform

All dimensions are in mm and for elevating models : the overall length will be increased by 100 mm the specification and dimensions are subject to change without notice as we constantly strive to improve the performance of our products.

Chassis : Fabricated from rolled channels and plates,

Steering : Standard automotive type steering on font wheels for easy control.

Drive Unit & Transmission : traction motor is mounted above the drive wheel, drive to the wheel is transmitted through two stage chain reduction & final reduction by gear & pinion.The entire unit swivels on heavy duty self aligning bearings.

Transmission : To the rear wheels through fully enclosed oil-bath gear box, propeller shaft, differential and floating axles.

Brakes : Internally expanding double shoe type hydraulic brakes on wheels , operated by a foot pedal. Standard parking brake provided on the rear wheels.

Suspension : Left springs & shock absorbers are provided on both the axles.

Electrical System : Control panel located below steering handle, consists of four heavy duty solenoid operated contactors with arc shields & magnetic low outs for forward/reverse motion & cutting out two stage resistance banks. The complete electric circuit is protected by adequately rated fuses.

Controls : Controls for forward reverse motion, horn, light, emergency cut-off & key switch are mounted on the dashboard. Acceleration & mechanical brake is foot operated.

Optional Extra : Chequered platform, manual or motorized elevation, low voltage battery discharge alarm, front suspension, 1800 mm long platform and scissor type platform for all models. Hydraulic brakes and rear suspension for high platform models only. Electronic controls for soft start and jerk free transmission provides the following advantages.

1) No wastage of battery power resulting in more work output.
2) Lower maintenance cost & downtime of equipment.
